The Internet Rich Kids

The power of the internet is unprecedented, we all know it, we all live it, and we all breathe it. In today's electronically mad world the internet is the foremost ruler and it's all thanks to a small bunch of special people who had ideas like never before.

Odds are that at least 90% of the people reading this will be more then aware of whom Mark Zuckerberg is. Having created the number one social networking site in the world whilst a student at Harvard, Mark has taken Facebook from strength to strength taking him all the way to the top and landing him a cool estimated $17,5000,000,000.

 In 2008 Andrew Mason introduced the world to Groupon, a deal based website that has grown rapidly, with reports stating that Groupon profits 50% of every single sale made. Imitators have come and gone while Groupon has continued to impress; leaving Andrew with an estimated $4,5000,000,000 profit.

Matt Mullenweg gave the world Word Press which has changed the way we use the internet. Word Press enables any user to create their very own website with pure ease and simplicity; something other services have yet to be able to offer…giving Matt a place in history and an impressive estimated earning of $250,000,000

Larry Page and Sergey Brin redefined the way we use the internet by introducing Google. Google is today the king of the internet, we all use it throughout our day and thanks to the growing importance of seo it provides us with immensely accurate search results, it also provides businesses with a chance to make some real money, holds its own networking site and so much more…Google rules the internet and as a result Larry and Brin have an estimated fortune of $16,500,000,000 each.

Jeff Bazos has literally redefined what it means to shop online. Initially introduced as the world's largest online book store, Amazon now offers just about anything and everything at great prices and may with the added bonus of free shipping…it is one of the main reasons why high street sales have slumped so dramatically, not that John would complain as its netted him an amazing $14,000,000,000.

These are our personal top five but the list is in fact endless. LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman has earned an estimated $2,000,000,000. And the late Steve Jobs' activities had earned him an estimated $7,000,000,000. They took their ideas and ran with them, redefining the way the world uses the internet…these are the rich kids who have not only earned their money but changed the world for the better!
