Embracing the opportunities that online marketing has to offer but failing to feel a major oomph? Doing everything in your power to push your latest product or service and yet to see people race to grab it? Then perhaps your online marketing campaign needs a little pizzazz to brighten it up, attract that all important audience and help your business, be it big or small, get those all-important sales.

Here are our top tips that can help you spice up any offer…

  • Limit it- Nothing gets people going more than a 'Limited Time' only offer. What is often the case with any offer is that the consumer will see what is available and decide to come back later or wait a while. By announcing a limited availability or a limited time scale you have a better chance of seeing more action.
  • Discount it- Nothing is more appealing than a discount, particularly in a time of economic strain. I recall attempting to book a hair appointment at my local salon and told it would cost me £43…luckily I spotted a well-known salon offer a fantastic 'first time customer' discount and they got my custom and have managed to hold on to it since. An incentive really can go a long way.
  • Preview- This may be hard for some businesses but for those who can, a free preview or trial can work absolute wonders. Whether it is a one hour consultation or a free day pass; by allowing the customer to 'eye up' what you have on offer; you possess a higher chance of maintaining their custom.
  • Add a little extra- The consumer public love nothing more than an offer with a little extra on top…why do you think so many people are opting for the supermarket mortgage? Furniture vouchers and club card points! Whatever your business is offering; by adding a little extra you have a chance of standing out from your competitors in order to receive that all important custom.
  • Make them feel comfortable- Consumers fear making a solid commitment so where possible, it would be wise to offer a buy back policy that will allow the customer to get their money back if not satisfied. This will help your brand to appear more customer focused and will rarely cause a financial difficulty.
